So, I've got the tickets for U2 show which is tonight. I've packed my Nikon D3 and few lenses as the seats supposed to be good for the price I've paid. I've just called the company which organizes it and guess what.... no cameras allowed. What the heck? I've paid $250 per ticket and I'm not allowed to make a photo of Bono and the band? No. I can't. Simply. No. Don't ask me again. No, I said. Well, seems like I have free evening tonight! Beer anyone?

This rumor was around for a while, but Nikon finally did it. They unveiled the new D300s and entry level SLR, the D3000.
I'm little disappointed as I was expecting D300s shooting full HD video, but well.... Nikon forgot about me. I'm still waiting for new D700 which maybe (yes, just maybe) will have full HD video recording - the rumors says about the September.
As an addition, Nikon refreshed 2 lenses: 70-200MM F/2.8G and 18-200MM F/3.5-5.6G.
