BBC World News America’s Bill McKenna has been named ‘Editor of the Year” by the White House News Photographers Association.He has already been congratulated by President Obama and is to formally accept the prize at a Washington dinner.Mr McKenna was asked to edit a video to be shown at the event. It offers a rare glimpse into his world to reveal what inspires a top TV picture editor.
This is a nice insight into at sometimes what is considered the invisible art of editing because you as the viewer are not supposed to know what we as editors do, if you did we wouldnt be doing our jobs.
