While we are waiting for Apple to release new version of Final Cut Studio we may watch this great video showing us how behind Final Cut Pro actually is. It's an awesome idea to set contest like this which that lets people see the speed difference between 64bit Premiere and old Final Cut Pro. The contestants were given 9 tasks to complete in 15 minutes. Premiere Pro CS5 did the job long before Final Cut Pro.

Enjoy.

Wow, that's sick ! :) I still believe new FCP version will kick major ass. That's shame they started loosing a market.

My question to Apple: what the heck are you going to do about it? Huh?

They say: we don't care anymore as we've got enough iPad users. LOL :D

First and most important, i can't believe the unprofessional way this video was produced.
Sounds like a STINKIN WAR ZONE in the background, have they ever heard of a wireless mike?
And the visuals really leave a lot to desire.
The reason this ticks me off is they're showing great systems but you have to pretend your in a fire fight and strain to listen.
Try HARDER next time.
Thank you
My 2 cents

True, but it's not about the quality of that video but about the results you are seeing. If we were shooting such video, we would do it professional :)
My 1 cent ;)

Wow, as an editor for one of the top networks in the US and FCP user I see so much wrong with how the FCP editor on this video was cutting, very slow editor.

What an amateur video. Entirely too little room echo. Pathetic.

And while they're about it, how about figuring out how to do a split screen so we can see what the heck you're doing. Again, too little room echo. I expect mass streaming of 100% unintelligible word clumps. Unfortunately there were occasional words I could make out. Try harder next time guys!
