Does Random lights flickering work only in 3D Lights mode? How can I achieve random lights effect in Motion 4?

"Randomize Lights" is just a name of a parameter. It works with couple of flares attached to lights in Motion 5 but you can also use it in Motion 4 by changing the "Random Seed" parameter (below "Randomize Lights" parameter) to randomize flickering. It's the only way to use it in Motion 4 and FCP7. If you want more random flares you have to add another mFlare Generator and play with the "Random Seed" control.
