Your Education status is valid for one year, but as long as you are still eligible, you can reverify and keep your Education Plan for up to 4 years. Student Plan is fully functional and can be used commercially (on your private device).

How can I access the Education Plan?
In order to access the Education Plan, you need to create a MotionVFX account (or log into your existing one) and go through a verification process performed by our Partner — SheerID. The verification form will appear once you push the ‘Verify status’ button.
No, the Education Plan contains the same products and expansions as regular plans.
Sure! Just as in our regular plans, we offer a 14-day free trial period for both 2D and 2D+3D plans. The trial access is fully functional — there is no watermark or rendering limits. However, the trial version does not contain 10 mTracker 3D expansion packs and exclusive CineStudio LUTs pack for mFilmLook - these are available in the full plan.
Number of students/teachers = number of plans = one :) In case you bought Plan 2D and want to move to 2D+3D, it’s always possible. Go to My Subscriptions and use the “Change Plan” button.
Yes, Education Plan can be used commercially on your privately owned computer.
One plan is valid for one year. You can use a total of 4 plans = 4 awesome years on the Education Plan!
Our Partner, SheerID manages the entire verification process, so the best place to go for help is their FAQ page or to open a ticket with their support team. Keep in mind it can take a few days to hear back about eligibility. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with Education verification issues, so please reach out directly to SheerID for support.
Unfortunately, as of now, only countries and schools visible in the verification form are eligible for the Education Plan. We are working to expand the list of countries and universities that are available in the program. You could leave a note to our support mentioning what educational institution you’re interested in.
2 weeks before your Education Plan expires, we will remind you that you can go through the education status re-verification process to keep your Education Plan for another annual period. On the same date, you will see a button, “Reverify Status,” appear in your account (tab: My Subscriptions). You will go through exactly the same process as by initial verification.
Sure! We allow people to use the Education Plan for a maximum of 4 years. Your Education Status is valid for 1 year — we will remind you to reverify your education status 2 weeks before the plan expiration date and then again 3 days before then so that we can roll you to the next year of the Education Plan!
Education Status is valid for one year. You can check your Education Status validity in My account or in My Subscriptions. 2 weeks before your status expires, we will remind you via email about the need to reverify your status, and the button for reverification will appear in your Account.
If you don’t reverify your status before your Education Plan renews for another year, we will cancel your subscription. You can go through the verification process again, and once verified, purchase a new plan on this page.
